China-based LeTV reportedly has delayed its payments to its upstream smartphone component and ODM partners due to having some funding gap, but Compal Electronics and Pegatron Technology both noted that they have received their payments.

LeTV's smartphones started selling in May 2015 and shipped five million units in 2015. The China-based vendor is looking to ship 23 million units in 2016 and prior to May 2016, the company already managed to ship over 10 million units for the year.
