The Gear S2 is one of the best smartwatches on the market and its only, possible, disadvantage is the lack of apps compared to Android Wear or the Apple Watch. Although it has great user interface, Samsung is working on a major new update for the smartwatch.

The update will be released in near future and one of the most important new features is the ability to use your own photos as backgrounds in watch faces. The watch will also gain ability to post to Facebook directly, its fitness tracking abilities will also get overhaul with a sleep monitor feature, the S Voice will get new controls and there will be a menu for managing notifications.
