Just as promised, Huawei has officially announced another member of Honor smartphone lineup. The company's latest high-end smartphone, the Honor 8, was just unveiled in China and is available with either 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM and up to 64 GB of storage.

The base model is priced at 1,999 Yuan ($299) and comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, while the top model comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of storage and is priced 2499 Yuan ($369). All models will be available for order in China on July 19 in Pearl White, Sunrise Gold, Midnight Black, Sakura Pink and Sapphire Blue colors.

Its main highlight is the dual rear camera setup on the back, similar to the Honor V8. The dual 12-megapixel rear cameras have 1.76-micron pixel size for great low-light photos and support laser auto focus. Other specs include a 5.2-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass display, Kirin 950 SoC, a 3,000 mAh battery and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 on top.
