Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) has announced consolidated revenues of NT$305.01 billion (US$9.46 billion) for June, up 3.25% on month, but down 4.25% on year, and NT$922.81 billion for the second quarter, down 3.67% sequentially and 5.12% on year.
The company's consolidated revenues for the first half were NT$1.88 trillion, down 5.35% on year.
Foxconn said its communications-related product lines had good performance in June, while consumer electronics-related product lines were flat. Computing-related product lines performed rather weakly.
Foxconn's revenues from communications product lines are expected to enjoy growth in both the third and fourth quarters as client's new smartphones will be launched at the end of the third quarter, noted market watchers.
As for its computing product lines, Foxconn is mainly relying on datacenter and server products to maintain overall performance as desktop and notebook demand continues to weaken. |
