To complement the recently unveiled Honor 8, Huawei plans to launch a larger model called Honor Note 8. After numerous rumours, leaks and teasers, the company has now confirmed that it plans to announce the Honor Note 8 phablet at an event on August 1.

The teaser also confirms a Quad HD display, while the recent TENAA certification reveals a 6.6-inch Quad HD AMOLED display, Kirin 950/955 SoC with 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM, and a 4,400 mAh battery.
