All of a sudden, BlackBerry decided to announce its second Android-running smartphone. Dubbed the BlackBerry DTEK50, the handset is advertised as the world's most secure smartphone and is now available for pre-order through BlackBerry's official webshop. It can be purchase only in Black color for $299 and until August 8, all users will get a free BlackBerry Mobile Power Pack worth $59.99.

As the name suggest, it comes with DTEK software that encrypts all users' information, including business critical data and personal data, and is FIPS 140-2 Compliant with malware protection.

As for the phone itself, it is just a rebranded Alcatel Idol 4. It comes with a 5.2-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 617 processor, 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, a 13-megapixel camera, and a 2,610 mAh battery.
