One of the most popular Xiaomi lineups is definitely the budget Redmi series, which offers so much for very low price. Xiaomi set various sales records with the Redmi series, and users are expecting big things from the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi 4 smartphone.

Now, first working Xiaomi Redmi 4 prototype has leaked online, giving us a glimpse of what to expect from it. According to leaked live images, the handset has a quite similar design as its predecessor, with a metal body, a 2.5D glass up front and a fingerprint reader on the back.

As for the specs, it will reportedly come with an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz, which should be the Helio P10, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage and MIUI 8 OS based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

The pricing details are unknown, but considering that most Helio P10-powered mid-range flagships cost between $100 and $200, we can expect similar price tag for the Redmi 4.
