HTC has reported revenues of NT$6.32 billion (US$200.25 million) for July, down 0.6% on month and 14.69% on year.
Accumulated 2016 revenues through July totaled NT$40 billion, decreasing 51% from a year earlier.
The company suffered a loss of NT$3.71 per share in the second quarter of 2016, extending the losses to NT$6.87 per share for the first half of the year.
However, HTC expects its performance for the third quarter of 2016 to be better than that recorded in the previous quarter, buoyed by brisk sales of its HTC 10 flagship model and first VR (virtual reality) device HTC Vive.
The company's stock price rose NT$4.20 to close at NT$102.50 on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE) during the August 5 session. |
