DRAM maker Inotera Memories has announced the appointment of Richard Mealey-Ozawa as company CFO effective August 9, 2016.

Mealey-Ozawa joined Micron Electronics in 1992, and then worked for Micron Technology. He held several executive positions within Micron with more than 20 years of working experience in finance and accounting.

Inotera chairman Pei-Ing Lee has reiterated the company's deal with Micron continues to proceed despite a delay in closing the transaction. An update regarding the deal will be provided later in the second half of 2016, Lee added.

Micron unveiled in December 2015 plans to buy all the shares it does not own in Inotera, and have Inotera merge with its Taiwan unit - Micron Semiconductor Taiwan (MST; formerly Rexchip Electronics). Micron already owns about 33% of Inotera.

In other news, Inotera has reported consolidated revenues of NT$4.13 billion (US$131.9 million) for July 2016, up 9.8% sequentially and hitting a nine-month high. Inotera's revenues for the first seven months of 2016 totaled NT$26.52 billion, down 33.5% on year.
