Meizu has just announced its first phone under the new E-series. The Meizu M3E is very similar to the recently announced MX6, with minor design and hardware changes. The phone comes in Gold, Silver, Gray, Glacial Blue and Champagne Gold colors and is priced at 1,299 Yuan ($199). It is available for pre-order in China and will go on sale from August 14th.

The device comes with aluminum unibody that houses a 5.5-inch 1080p display with 2.5D glass, MediaTek Helio P10 chipset, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage and a 3,100 mAh battery. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF), a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, a fingerprint scanner and runs on YunOS with Flyme UI on top.
