ODM Pegatron expects third-quarter 2016 revenues from product lines other than IT to increase 25-30% on quarter, notebook shipments in the quarter to grow 5-10% on quarter, and motherboard and desktop shipments to slip 10-15%, according to the company.

Telecom product lines accounted for 60% of consolidated revenues for the second quarter of 2016, IT 16%, consumer electronics % and others 11%, Pegatron said.

Pegatron suffered losses of NT$1.426 billion (US$44.6 million) from foreign exchange in the second quarter, 70-80% of which was attributable to depreciation of the Chinese Yuan.
