Three iPhone models are in the works for next year and one of them will feature a curved display, something that's never been seen on an iPhone before. Nikkei (Japan) reports there will be a 5.5-inch model with an OLED display that is implemented similarly to the S7 Edge's display.

Samsung, one of Apple's greatest competitors, may be Apple's source for the curved displays. Though, it's also been reported Foxconn will provide some of the supply.

Apple's other 2017 iPhone models will come with new features and upgraded specs, but they'll still be 4.7 and 5.5-inches.
