The long rumoured Redmi Note 4 is finally official as Xiaomi took off the wraps from the phone earlier today. The Redmi Note 4 is the successor to the Note 3 and retains the 5.5-inch Full HD display, but there are various other improvements made to the smartphone.

First of all, it features a metal unibody design with chamfered edges and 2.5D glass at the front. There is a more powerful MediaTek Helio X20 chipset with deca-core processor paired with up to 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.

It will go on sale starting tomorrow in China for ¥899 ($130) for the 16 GB variant, and ¥1,199 ($180) for the model with 64 GB of storage. No word on global availability.
