Earlier this year, Google officially discontinued the $999 Chremobook Pixel 2, while the more expensive model was still selling. Starting today, customers will no longer be able to purchase the $1,299 model as it is now discontinued and Google has no plans to restock the Pixel 2.

The company has plans to launch new models in the future as they are still committed to the Pixel program, but at the moment there are no new products. Some retailers still have the laptop in stock, so you better act fast if you still want to buy one, otherwise a used one will be your only chance.
