Acer has introduced two Android phones at IFA, the Liquid Z6 and Z6 Plus, both of which are going to arrive in non-US stores later this year. The Z6 is a firmly midrange device and the Z6 Plus comes with notably higher specs. No US launch plans have been discussed for either.
The Liquid Z6 comes with a 5-inch 720p display, a quad-core MediaTek 6737 processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of expandable storage, an 8 MP camera, and a 2000 mAh battery.
The Liquid Z6 Plus includes a 5.5-inch 1080p display, an octa-core MediaTek 6753 processor, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of expandable storage, and a 4080 mAh battery. It includes a fingerprint sensor as well.
Acer has confirmed those phones will arrive in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The Liquid Z6 costs €119 and the Liquid Z6 Plus costs €180. The former arrives in November and the latter arrives in December. |
