Enough Galaxy Note 7 units have randomly caught fire in South Korea that Samsung is temporarily halting shipments in that region. A report from Yonhap News (South Korea) says at least five Note 7 owners have reported their phones randomly catching fire.

Samsung says it is "investigating" these reports and will delay shipments while that investigation is conducted. When the pause in shipments was first reported earlier this week, Samsung avoided giving a straight answer about the situation, though it has since confirmed those reports.

No one really knows what is causing the fires, but they could be connected to bad charging connectors or wall adapters.
