While it was rumoured that the Samsung's latest flagship phablet will be back on sale on October 21, the company has now resumed the sales in the US. The handset is already available for purchase in the country and at least two of the Big Four carriers have the new safe model.
Both Sprint and Verizon are now selling the new, safe version of the handset and all three color options are available, including Black Onyx, Silver Titanium, and Blue Coral. Other major carriers will probably join the party anytime soon.
A Samsung spokeswoman said that 500,000 replacement units had arrived in the US, but a "vast majority" have opted for another Galaxy smartphone. That is probably the main reason why the phablet is already on sale. |
