After US carriers AT&T and T-Mobile officially announced that they won't sell the Galaxy Note 7 and issuing replacement units, a new report says that Samsung has reportedly stopped production of the phablet. The reason behind the halt are issues with the replacement units.

The company has confirmed that they are closely investigating every new incident and if necessary, they will take immediate steps approved by the CPSC to resolve the situation. We'll definitely know more in the coming weeks.

"The halt is in cooperation with consumer safety regulators from South Korea, the United States and China. This measure includes a Samsung plant in Vietnam that is responsible for global shipments (of the Galaxy Note 7)," according to the report.
