Compal Electronics shipped four million notebooks in September, increasing 33.3% on month, while fellow maker Inventec shipped 1.75 million notebooks, AIO (all-in-one) PCs and tablets, growing 2.9% on month.
Compal shipped 25 million notebooks during January-September, shrinking 13.8% on year.
Compal has reported consolidated revenues of NT$76.347 billion (US$2.43 billion) for September, rising 18.19% on month but slipping 16.60% on year. Its third-quarter consolidated revenues totaled NT$197.885 billion, growing 14.44% on quarter but falling 8.34% on year, and those of NT$547.449 billion for January-September dipped 10.7% on year.
Inventec posted consolidated revenues of NT$39.058 billion for September, increasing 3.40% on month but slipping 3.57% on year. Its third-quarter consolidated revenues totaled NT$111.654 billion, rising 3.07% on quarter and 5.91% on year, and those of NT$315.348 billion for January-September grew 10.49%% on year. |
