MediaTek has reported consolidated revenues of NT$27.71 billion (US$880.8 million) for September 2016, hitting a monthly record for the second consecutive month.

MediaTek's revenues for the third quarter of 2016 came to NT$78.4 billion, also a quarterly record. Nevertheless, the actual results met just the low end of the company's guidance of between NT$78.3 billion and NT$84 billion.

MediaTek's share price on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE) closed at NT$241 on October 7, down NT$2.50 or 1%.
