ODM Wistron shipped 2.1 million notebooks in September, the highest monthly level so far in 2016 and increasing 16.7% on month, 5.4 million units in the third quarter, sequentially growing 17.4%, and 13.8 million units in January-September, according to the company.

In addition, Wistron shipped 1.1 million desktops, 400,000 LCD TVs and 190,000 servers in September. For the fourth quarter, Wistron expects notebook and LCD TV shipments to slip 5-10% and about 10%, respectively, on quarter, desktop and LCD monitor shipments to remain flat, and server shipments to grow.

On October 11, Wistron reported consolidated revenues of NT$62.517 billion (US$1.99 billion) for September, rising 6.90% on month and 2.87% on year, NT$168.538 billion for the third quarter, growing 14.94% on quarter and 10.42% on year, and NT$449.861 billion for January-September, increasing 0.15%% on year.
