Quanta Computer shipped 3.7 million notebooks in September, declining 7.5% on month, according to the company.

Quanta expects notebook shipments in October to slip sequentially but those in November will rebound. Quanta aims to ship 39-40 million notebooks in 2016.

On October 11, Quanta reported consolidated revenues of NT$78.592 billion (US$2.50 billion) for September, increasing 7.76% on month but decreasing 22.44% on year, NT$223.699 billion for the third quarter, rising 7.72% on quarter but dropping 18.92% on year, and NT$628.737 billion for January-September, dipping 14.12% on year.
