Shortly after Samsung launched its convertible Chromebook, Acer has announced its new 15.6-inch Chromebook with a couple of key improvements over its predecessor. Not only it comes with various improvements, but the company has also decided to lower the price. Therefore, the notebook now starts at $199.

Acer Chromebook 15 features 1,366 x 768 pixels resolution, Intel Celeron N3060 dual-core Braswell processor, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of eMMC storage and 3,950 mAh battery. Acer also promises 12 hours battery life, which is an increase of three hours over previous versions.
