As promised, Oppo has finally unveiled its two new flagship smartphones at an event in China. The Oppo R9s and R9s Plus are available for order in China in Gold, Rose Gold and Black colors. The R9s will go on sale on October 28, while the R9s Plus will be available in December. The price tag of the base R9s model is 2,799 Yuan ($410) and 3,499 Yuan ($520) for the R9s Plus.
Both smartphones are almost identical in terms of design and the only difference is the size of metal unibody. The R9s packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display with an octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor, while the R9s Plus comes with a 6-inch 1080p display with and octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor. The rest of the specs are the same, including a fingerprint scanner built-in home button, VOOC fast charging and dual 16 MP cameras.
