We finally have the announcement date of new MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. According to a report by Recode, Apple has scheduled an event for October 27, where it will announce the next-gen MacBooks. The event comes just two days after Apple reveals its quarterly financial results.

Don't expect to see any new mobile products as the event will be focused only on new Macs. There are various new rumours about the refreshed Macs, but we haven't seen any live images or legit confirmation. Some of the rumours say that the 2016 MacBook Pros will ditch the support for traditional USB ports, MagSafe and Thunderbolt 2, and should come with Touch ID and new OLED touch display.
The company is expected to refresh its iMac lineup as well and we might see the introduction of a new 5K display that comes equipped with a built-in GPU. Stay tuned for new information. |
