With the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco, Samsung needs to make the Galaxy S8 perfect otherwise customers will definitely lose faith in the company. We have already seen some rumours and concepts about the Galaxy S8, and new details out of China reveals more about the phone's specs.

Reportedly, the Galaxy S8 will sport a 5.5-inch 4K display, Snapdragon 830 or Exynos 8895, depending on the region, and 6 GB of RAM. Another interesting thing is it will be the world's first smartphone with optical fingerprint recognition, eliminating the need for the company to place a fingerprint scanner inside the home button. The phone is rumoured to be announced at the MWC 2017 in February, and we'll probably see first images by the end of the year.
