During its Windows 10 event in New York, Microsoft has officially announced an upgraded version of its Surface Book. Unfortunately, don't expect any big improvements as the new laptop is almost the same as its predecessor, at least if we're talking about design.

The design language remains unchanged, so don't expect new hinge design that was rumoured over the last few weeks. However, there are some improvements under the hood, featuring latest Intel Core i7 processor, twice the graphics performance from the original model, and a redesigned cooling system with an additional fan and 16 hours of battery life.
Other than that, it is the same Surface Book. It is available with 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB configurations for $2,399, $2,799, and $3,299, respectively, and is available for pre-order today from Microsoft.com. |
