It is obvious that Samsung's fiasco with Galaxy Note 7 has made some impact on Samsung's other R&D projects. Some of which have been halted, some completely shelved while some are still on track. One of them is Gear S3, which reportedly isn't affected.

The smartwatch is expected to hit shelves in mid-November in South Korea, United States, and Canada. Shortly after, it will be available in "major European countries." The company's spokesperson didn't reveal exact launch date, but some sites say it will go on sale on November 18.
