We already knew a few details about the upcoming Miix 700 series devices that are expected to battle with the upcoming Surface 5, but today a new set of details leak online. While Microsoft postponed its Surface lineup for next year, Lenovo should announce new Miix 700 devices soon.

Winfuture.de has managed to obtain pictures and specs for the upcoming high-end Miix 720. The tablet features a 12-inch display with 2,880 x 1,920 pixels resolution and will be powered by Intel's latest Kaby Lake processors. There will be several CPU options available, including Core i3-7100U, Core i5-7200U or Core i7-7500U, making it much more powerful than the current Miix 700.

The CPU is paired with up to 16 GB of DDR4 memory and up to 1 TB of PCIe solid state storage. In terms of connectivity, the Miix 720 has a USB 3.1 Type-C port, a USB 3.0 port, a USB 2.0 port, a headset jack and microSD card slot.

Other specs include 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.1 support, a 41 Wh battery, dual array microphones, stereo speakers a 5MP rear camera, and a 1MP front camera with support for Windows Hello secure login features.
