Updates to the MacBook lineup next year will include price cuts and spec upgrades, according to KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. Both new and existing units will see their prices drop and Apple will also introduce a new 32 GB RAM option. Together, those changes may lead to an overall good year for the MacBook.
The 32 GB option will be introduced alongside refreshed MacBooks during the second half of next year. However, if Intel isn't on time with its Canonlake processors, the introduction of Apple's new MacBook may be pushed back.
Kuo believes, like in previous years, Apple will announce price reductions for the currently-available MacBooks later next year. |
