Gionee has officially announced a new phone today in China. The Gionee S9 isn't really a flagship smartphone since it doesn't pack high-end hardware, but there are some interesting things, including the dual rear camera setup with 13 MP + 5 MP sensors. The second sensor is used for capturing images with depth of field blur effects.

The handset has a metal unibody design that houses a 5.5-inch 1080p display, an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage and a 3,000 mAh battery. It comes in Black, Gold and Rose Gold colors, and is priced at 2499 Yuan ($360). No details on the global rollout, but it will go on sale in China on November 25.
