Another report has come out claiming Apple is going to release a 10.5-inch iPad next year. The latest claim originates along the company's Taiwanese supply chain, which described the iPad as an "education and enterprise" model. KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo made the same prediction in August 2016.

Other sources have stated Apple is working on a new iPad model, but it may be 10.9 or 10.1-inches. There are now two independent sources claiming the iPad is 10.5-inches and features an A10X processor.

According to the latest source, Apple wants to compete "with Android models."
