Qualcomm and Samsung have recently announced the Snapdragon 835, which is going to be Qualcomm's flagship SoC, and probably exclusive to some smartphones and companies. One of the first smartphones is rumoured to be the Galaxy S8, alongside Xiaomi Mi 6.

For other companies, Qualcomm is preparing Snapdragon 830, which should be more affordable and better choice for some phones. Just like the Snapdragon 835, it is going to use Samsung's 10nm FinFET process, but will feature either six or eight Kryo 200 cores, Adreno 519 GPU and Cat.12 baseband support. The chipset is expected to launch in the second half of 2017.
