Earlier this year, Samsung sold its printer business to HP. The same thing could happen to its PC business as Samsung wants to focus more on its core businesses, and according to several reports, the company interested in buying it is the world's largest PC vendor Lenovo.
Samsung's PC division is estimated to be worth only $850 million, but for the time being, it looks like Samsung will remain in the PC market. The company stated that "the rumor is not true." So either rumours are not true, or the negotiations are in early stages and Samsung doesn't want to confirm it. Either way, time will tell.
