Google underestimated the demand for its flagship Pixel handsets and Verizon had to delay the Pixel XL 128 GB variant for two weeks. Following the original delay of two weeks, the carrier postponed the shipments even further, and won't ship the phone until December 26.

Although the previous arrival date was November 26, that date was apparently sent by a mistake and the December 26 was the actual ship date. Some users have already canceled their orders. On the other hand, according to financial services firm Morgan Stanley, Google Pixel smartphones are expected to bring Google about $3.8 billion in revenue in 2017.
