Besides announcing new high-end Pro 6 Plus smartphone, Meizu has announced the M3X handset during the same event. The smartphone is aimed at people that don't want to spend too much on a phone, but still wants to have a decent, mid-range smartphone.

The Meizu M3X packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display that is powered by a MediaTek Helio P20 chipset, paired with 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM, and 32 GB or 64 GB of storage. The rear 12 MP camera uses Sony IMX386 sensor, while a front is a 5 MP unit. The phone also runs Flyme 6.0 and has a 3,200mAh battery with fast mCharge that matches Quick Charge 3.0.
