Nokia was once the world's number one handset manufacturer, but bad decision to stick with the Windows Phone platform and some other decisions have put the company out of the market. The company has learned from its mistakes and is ready to challenge Apple, Samsung and others companies.

Today, Nokia has officially confirmed that its strategic agreement, covering branding rights and intellectual property licensing with HMD Global Oy (HMD), has come into force. HMD can now begin marketing Nokia phones for the next ten years and first Nokia-branded Android handsets will arrive in the first half of 2017.
