HP has announced a new rugged convertible laptop aimed at students. Dubbed the ProBook x360 11 Education Edition, the 11.6-inch laptop is covered with an industrial rubber casing and can be customized with Gorilla Glass 4-strengthened panel for extra durability.

Its 11.6-inch touchscreen has 1,366 x 768 pixels resolution and is powered by a Pentium N4200 or Intel Celeron N3350 processor, an 8 GB RAM and 256 GB of storage. There is also a built-on app called "Take a Test," which creates a browser-based, locked-down environment for more secure, online assessments, where students won't have copy/paste option and access to other files.

The notebook will go on sale on December 16, priced at $329.
