Moto's G series has been very popular among people due to decent design and specifications, and very affordable pricing. The company is now working on a successor to the G4 lineup, which will replace the Moto G4 and G4 Plus. Thanks to leaked images and specifications, we now know what to expect from them.

The 5th generation of G smartphones are tipped to launch on March 8, 2017, but it is not clear which market will get it first. Both devices are powered by octa-core processors, and sport 5.5-inch Full HD displays, 5 MP front cameras and turbo charging feature. The only difference seems to be in the amount of memory, rear camera unit and a fingerprint scanner, which is only present on the G5 Plus.
