First Snapdragon 835-powered smartphone was expected to be Samsung's Galaxy S8, which seems logical as Samsung is manufacturing the chipset using its 10nm node. However, according to new information, the Galaxy S8 lineup might not be the first with Snapdragon 835.
On its official Twitter account, ASUS posted a picture teasing an upcoming phone in the ZenFone series that will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 SoC. While the company never mentioned the Snapdragon 835, it did say it will unveil a phone that is powered by the 10nm SoC at the upcoming CES 2017. |
