A strong demand for Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus is something everyone was expecting, but further analyze reveals that the initial 10 million units won't be sufficient. With less than a month before the official announcement takes place, Samsung has decided to ramp up the production.

According to latest reports, Samsung plans to ship 17 million units. Samsung is also targeting much higher total shipments, with around 60 million units.
