5G network might be the future, but LTE isn't quite done yet and has still something to offer. The Chinese smartphone maker ZTE has now announced that it will launch the world's first gigabit LTE smartphone at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona later this month.

The ZTE Gigabit smartphone will allow download speeds of up to 1 gigabit per second, but we don't know much about it.
