Pakistan is the latest market to receive Xiaomi's smartphones. The Chinese tech company has been making deals to offer its phones in a range of markets outside of its home country. In Pakistan, Xiaomi is working with Smart Link Technologies for distribution and after-sales service.

Rocket Internet's Daraz will also distribute the company's phones.

Xiaomi is initially offering the Redmi Note 4, Redmi Note 4A, and Mi Max to consumers in Pakistan. Some devices and accessories are currently available from the Daraz website.

The company has been expanding into markets like India, Brazil, and the US in the past couple years. Pakistan could be an important region for Xiaomi given it's the sixth most populous nation.
