The Galaxy Note 7 might be the biggest mistake Samsung made in its history. Not only Samsung had to recall over 3 million Galaxy Note 7 units it sold worldwide, but the company's reputation was also affected. According to latest results, the company's ranking fell to 49th in 2016, down from 3rd in 2015, but Samsung is not yet done with the phablet.

With 2.5 million units in its inventory, Samsung plans to install smaller batteries that won't cause the phone to catch on fire and sell them in emerging markets. The new batteries will range between 3,000 and 3,200 mAh, compared to the original 3,500 mAh.
