Apple is going to start making smartphones in India within the next two months, reports the Wall Street Journal. The company will utilize Wistron to make iPhone 6 and 6s units in the country. It'll start making iPhone SE devices within the next three months.

One of the primary benefits of manufacturing locally within India is that it can help Apple reduce the cost of its phones in the country. India is already becoming one of the most important smartphone markets in the world, but Apple only has a 5% market share.
