Earlier reports said that due to sluggish supply of Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chips, the overall supply of Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will be affected, and may fail to meet demand. That would also affect sales of the phone, since the global smartphone market is already saturated with rival products.
Today, Samsung's head of mobile, DJ Koh, has released a short statement, denying those rumours. He said that Samsung is ready to sell twice as many units of the new flagship phones as it did last year with the Galaxy S7.
"Since we are preparing the supply without difficulty, there will be no issue of supply delay", Koh said. |
