As we are awaiting for the launch of the Mi 6 flagship smartphone, the Chinese company Xiaomi has now unveiled another flagship product - the Mi Pad 3 tablet. The device is currently available only in China where it is priced at 1,499 yuan or around $220, but it will reach other markets very soon.

In terms of design, the new model is practically identical to its predecessor with the same metal unibody and 7.9-inch 1,536 x 2,048 pixel LCD, but inside is a different story. It packs MediaTek MT8176 chipset with hexa-core processor, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage and a 6,600 mAh battery. The cameras have also been upgraded - the main now has a 13 MP sensor, while the front is a 5 MP unit. Last, but not least is addition of USB Type-C port.
