Rising prices of DRAM memory boosted revenues at Nanya Technology in the first quarter of 2017, which saw a 17.6% on-year increase.
Nanya has reported consolidated revenues of NT$4.19 billion (US$137 million) for March 2017, up 27.1% from a year earlier and 5.6% sequentially. The company saw its revenues climb to a nine-quarter high of NT$12.23 billion in the first quarter of 2017.
Nanya estimated previously a 10-15% sequential rise in DRAM ASPs in the first quarter of 2017. ASPs will continue their rally in the second quarter, the company said.
Nanya is scheduled to hold its quarterly investors meeting on April 26 to discuss its performance in the first quarter, and provide a business outlook. |
