The iPhone 8 may be revealed later this year, but it could be hard to get until 2018, according to a report from KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. He believes mass production of the phone will begin in October or November. This strongly suggests the phone will be hard to get until next year.
Apple usually starts mass production a few months before new iPhones are announced. Limited availability is often still present even with that way of operating, so it's hard to picture the iPhone 8 being readily available until sometime in 2018.
Other recent reports have claimed the higher-end iPhone 8 will be delayed, something Kuo's report supports. |
