Before they enter physical retail stores, Apple is reportedly going to sell iPhones made within India online. The Economic Times says the company will begin selling the iPhone SE through its online store later in 2017.

Those phones are being manufactured within India to please the government. Apple has been working with the Indian government to gain the ability to sell iPhones directly in the country.

In March, the WSJ claimed Apple was going to begin manufacturing within 4-6 weeks.

Apple hopes to launch four to five retail stores over the next five to ten years.
